An innovative Danish SME is ready to present a new photovoltaic (PV) system to the commercial and residental markets. The product is able to increase yields by 30% or more as well as reducing initial costs. The PV system is a "plug and play" 230V 300W AC module with integrated embedded electronics, micro-inverters etc. Automated assemblyline is being developed and soon ready for real production. The company is looking for partners interested in licence production.
An innovative Danish SME is ready to present a new PV
system to the commercial and residental markets. The product is able to increase yields by 30% or
more as well as reducing initial costs. The PV system is a "plug and play" 230V 300W AC
module with integrated embedded electronics, micro-inverters etc. ready for installation and grid
connection. Several panels can easily be connected by simply clicking the premountet cables
together.
Current solar panels are made of "strings" of solar cells that is they are
connected in series. Therefore is one cell is weaker or shaded, the output of the entire string can
drop significantly. If one cell is broken, the entire string is useless. The technology presented
here laser cuts each six inch cell into microcells. Each microcell is monitored and individually
controlled by the patented Dynamic Microcell Optimasation technology to provide optimum output of
the whole module. Leaves, snow, shadowing and bird droppings are no longer a problem as the affected
microcells are switched out leaving the rest operating at maximum efficiency. This enables the
module to gather up to 30% more electricity per annum than current designs.
A fully-automated
assemblyline is being developed and is soon ready for real production. This should increase
throughput with 4-6 times compared to those of standard PV mudules produced in the solar industry
today. The company is looking for partners interested in licence production.
Innovative Aspects:
The newly patented Dynamic Microcell Optimasation technology maximises the yield of each microcell
resulting in significantly increased performance and minimum energy loss.
Estimated payback times
for installations in Denmark (10.3 years), Munich (6.5 years) and in Spain (2 years).
Sun in AC out.
Plug and Play, severel modules can easyly be combined.
Performance gurantee of 25 years.
